I decided to escape today’s soaring temperatures in LA this afternoon by watching the delightful documentary, “Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf’s” at the Hollywood Arclight.  The film encapsulates the mythical draw of this magical New York luxury institution from the POV of designers, window dressers, personal shoppers, and BG SVP, Linda Fargo.  As a viewer, we not only see the glittery facade of this fabulous store, we also get a glimpse of the lives of the key players that make this store what it is a today, from creating a spectacular holiday windows, buying next season’s collections, to building client relationships through their sales professionals.   If you are a lover of fashion and retail, and more importantly, work in the industry, definitely check out this film.  -Haute Andre
